So many switches, Ill try this one. We are kiding about Eric, he has been doing sound recording for 27 year in Hueytown Ala and does a great job. Now what switch do I turn on next Late hours in recording makes you tired Sharon listening to cd to make sure that we are on our parts, Eric Bates and Sharon have a keen ear for music Sharon at recording ,at Bates Bro. Well Charlie was tired, now hes asleep. I think we need more coffee Gary and Mary Adams at Bates Bro.s Gary and Mary Adams I look so good! Fellowship Time

Shadescrest always has a good crowd for their singings and folks love to come early and enjoy a meal before the singing starts. John relaxing before getting ready to sing. Lots of tables were busy Saturday night at the church. Bring on the food! Elvester is definitely a five on The Waylighters scale. These folks can sure feed you! Believe it or not, I think I missed Danny, John and Gary completely! Now what was I thinking?! The Pastors wife leads the way for the rest of us to eat and enjoy ourselves; Do you recognize yourself in any of these pictures? Its always fun to sit around and fellowship with folks. We get fed spiritualy and physically Our wonderful friend, Wanda, who for years ran American Diner. It was so great to see Wanda and her daughter and family there. Some more of the congregation at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in West Blocton, AL on February 20, 2011 Not sure of the reason, whether it was lighting or what, but I apologize for the quality of the pictures inside the church. This was a part of the congregation at Mt. Moriah on February 20, 2011. Gary and Sharon speaking with a couple of our good friends Mr. Jack and Betty Reach. We had a lot of friends to come in for the singing that afternoon at Mt. Moriah. We were at Good Hope United Methodist Church on March 19, 2011. Anytime were able to be with the folks there, they always make us feel like we are at home. This shall continue to remain what church is about, Christ and the cross He went to Calvary for to bare our sins so that we may have everlasting life. We were glad to be back at Good Hope United Methodist Church in Columbiana on March 19, 2011. We had a wonderful time. Waylighters Quartet #3

Charlie's Party - March 20, 2011

Charlie and his brother Gary pose for the camera. This was a surprise party for Charlie, and we did a pretty good job right up until he got to the parking lot. Then, when he started seeing so many of his friends, he had a suspicion. An appropriate cake decoration for Charlie. One of his favorite songs is The Lighthouse. Churches and You - Part III

A new church to sing at for The Waylighters was Little Vine Baptist in Empire, Alabama on April 21, 2013. The beautiful church of Concord Highlands Baptist. The congregations church was destroyed in the April, 27, 2011 tornado. But God has richly blessed the church by allowing them to rebuild. The Waylighters were honored to be the first group to perform i I failed to ask who painted this beautiful sign for Little Vine Baptist Church, but what a beautiful job they did! We keep telling him that is the sinigng position that he was born for! Ann Littleton has proved time and again to be a very talented lady and we are so glad to have her in the group! (And it never hurts to have another lady in the group too!) (LOL!!!) The Waylighters always love singing for the folks at Tannehill Opry. They have become our second family there. This is our second singing of the new year. Danny has been singing lead for the group since joining 14 years ago. But lately, he has also added some harmony singing to his resume. He does a great job! The Waylighters in 2014

This sweet couple were celebrating their 48th wedding anniversary at Bluff Spring Baptist Church. God bless and we pray that God gives you many more years together. Enjoying the day with the congregation of Bluff Springs Baptist Church on March 30, 2014. Very seldom does the group have time to pose for pictures, so when one of the ladies of the church asked for a photo opportunity, we had Garys wife, Mary to snap one also. Can you believe that she caught us all smiling at the same time!? Ann and Sharon enjoy singing the song, Did I Mention. Pastor, David Turner came up to sing, Im Winging My Way Back Home with the group. Later, Brother David went on to tell us that we are the first group that he ever felt comfortable enough to come up and sing with. We were very honored! Goodbye, Egypt, is probably one of Sharons most favorite songs that she has ever done with the quartet. It has a catchy little tune with a great meaning. Gary kept trying to let Pastor David know where we were at on the song. While Sharon take the lead, Gary, Ann and Danny get ready to sing back-up. As you may notice, Danny was sans his tie during the morning service. We had tried to call someone from the church earlier in the week, but were told the number had been disconnected. The singing had been booked a year ago, so we werent sure if we were Pastor David enjoying him with The Waylighters at Bluff Springs Baptist Church in Sylacauga, AL on March 30, 2014. Pastor David Turner went out of his way to make the group feel welcome. We really enjoyed the day with the folks at Bluff Springs. Danny and Ann Littletons grandson, Skyler, was able to be with us at New Home Missionary Baptist Church on April 27, 2014 in Oneonta, AL.
