The Pastors wife leads the way for the rest of us to eat and enjoy ourselves;

Shadescrest always has a good crowd for their singings and folks love to come early and enjoy a meal before the singing starts.

This shall continue to remain what church is about, Christ and the cross He went to Calvary for to bare our sins so that we may have everlasting life.

The Waylighters always enjoy coming to Stewarts Chapel because of the warm reception and the spirit they feel when they enter the doors.

And then every once in a while, Sharon steps out in front so that everyone knows that it truly is a quartet!

Here are just a few of the many pictures that were taken during Charlies birthday celebration on March 20, 2011 at Brooklane Community Center in Hueytown, Alabama. Charlie turned 79 on March 21.

An appropriate cake decoration for Charlie. One of his favorite songs is The Lighthouse. Mrs. Theresa Tanner did a wonderful job on the cake.

This was a surprise party for Charlie, and we did a pretty good job right up until he got to the parking lot. Then, when he started seeing so many of his friends, he had a suspicion.

So many friends came to pay their respects to a man who has given so much to his community.

And while Danny and Ann were holding down one side of the Opry, Gary and Sharon were getting ready to step on stage on the other side.

The Waylighters always love singing for the folks at Tannehill Opry. They have become our second family there. This is our second singing of the new year.

Gary Adams (Bass) is really loving his new position at Bass and does a great job! We keep telling him that is the sinigng position that he was born for!

Ann Littleton has proved time and again to be a very talented lady and we are so glad to have her in the group! (And it never hurts to have another lady in the group too!) (LOL!!!)

Danny has been singing lead for the group since joining 14 years ago. But lately, he has also added some harmony singing to his resume. He does a great job!

O.K. everyone, lets tighten up the group and sing that four-part harmony!

This sweet couple were celebrating their 48th wedding anniversary at Bluff Spring Baptist Church. God bless and we pray that God gives you many more years together.

As you may notice, Danny was sans his tie during the morning service. We had tried to call someone from the church earlier in the week, but were told the number had been disconnected. The singing had been booked a year ago, so we werent sure if we were

Pastor David Turner went out of his way to make the group feel welcome. We really enjoyed the day with the folks at Bluff Springs.

Very seldom does the group have time to pose for pictures, so when one of the ladies of the church asked for a photo opportunity, we had Garys wife, Mary to snap one also. Can you believe that she caught us all smiling at the same time!?

Gary has introduced a new song in the program entitled, If You Only Knew and it is getting wonderful response. Of course, its mainly because Gary puts such feeling into the song!

Danny Littleton is probably one of the most well-liked people around. Hes a very humble and modest man. We are so glad to have him as a member of the group.

Ann Littleton is also a kind-hearted individual that really enjoys singing with the group. We are very blessed to have her.

Ann and Sharon enjoy singing the song, Did I Mention.

Goodbye, Egypt, is probably one of Sharons most favorite songs that she has ever done with the quartet. It has a catchy little tune with a great meaning.

While Sharon take the lead, Gary, Ann and Danny get ready to sing back-up.

Pastor, David Turner came up to sing, Im Winging My Way Back Home with the group. Later, Brother David went on to tell us that we are the first group that he ever felt comfortable enough to come up and sing with. We were very honored!
